Brief Description: An all digital service provider using European GSM technology. VoiceStream has the largest digital home coverage in the State of Minnesota.

Recommendation: This service is ideal for individuals seeking, free caller I.D., free voicemail, and free nationwide long distance. Ideal for college students, small business owners, and people living on the border of two seperate area codes.

Nextel

Brief Description: An all digital service using TDMA technology with several home markets nationwide. The only phone with a pager, cellular phone, and two-way radio all in one unit.

Recommendation: Free incoming minutes, unlimited two-way radio usage, and per second billing are ideal for high airtime users. There is not a better bargain on airtime for companies using alot of inter-company communication or receiving a large amount of incoming calls. Sprint PCS

Brief Description: A service provider using both CDMA digital and analog technology with home coverage in most major U.S. cities and along most of the major U.S. interstate connecting them.

AT&T

Brief Description: One of the nation's largest service providers using analog, TDMA digital, and GSM digital technology . The first company to introduce flat rate pricing in the United States.

Recommendation: AT&T has consistent coverage throughout the Twin Cities and is excellent for individuals traveling throughout the Great Lakes states. The digital One Rate plans are fantastic for business travelers because there are no roaming and long distance charges nationwide.
